GRB CONCERTS
GRB Concerts was formed by Graham Bickley and Richard Balcombe to provide varied, lighter programmes to symphony orchestras. All programmes are devised by Graham and Richard and newly orchestrated by Richard.
Their first project What the World Needs Now – The Music of Burt Bacharach was premiered by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in 2012 and subsequently recorded with the same orchestra. Since then it has been played by the CBSO, Hallé, RLPO, BSO, BBC Concert Orchestra, London Concert Orchestra, RTÉ Concert Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia and the Orchestra of Opera North.
