As a regular contributor for 30 years to BBC Radio 2 Friday Night is Music Night, Richard has worked with an extensive list of international artistes including All Saints, Michael Ball, Nicola Benedetti, Alfie Boe, Michael Bublé, Jamie Cullum, Neil Diamond, Deacon Blue, Catrin Finch, Foxes, Maria Friedman, Peter Gabriel, Josh Groban, Ruthie Henshall, Katherine Jenkins, Ronan Keating, Beverley Knight, Stacey Kent, Lulu, Audra MacDonald, Katie Melhua, One Republic, Sir Cliff Richard, Curtis Stigers, Bryn Terfel, Travis, Russell Watson, Hayley Westenra, Sir Willard White and Will Young.

Richard was fortunate to conduct Proms in the Park (Hyde Park) from 2012 to 2019 working with international stars including Alison Balsom, Joseph Callejah, Caro Emerald, Dame Edna Everage, Bryan Ferry, Juan Diego Florez, Sir James Galway, Aida Garifulina, Vittorio Grigolo, The Jacksons, Nigel Kennedy, Gladys Knight, Pumeza Matshikiza, Tim Minchin, Danielle de Niesse and Rufus Wainwright.

In July 2021 Richard made his official Proms debut conducting The Golden Age of Broadway with the BBC Concert Orchestra in the Royal Albert Hall, on BBC Radio 3 and BBC 2 TV.

Richard has also been privileged to conduct many choral ensembles including the BBC Singers, BBC National Chorus of Wales, Royal Choral Society, Maida Vale Singers, Capital Voices, Rock Choir, Metro Voices and London Voices.
